The first CSR activity organized by Baurs in year 2022 to honor 125 years of proven trust concluded by cleaning the Preethipura-Wattala public beach with the participation of the Chairman , MD/CEO ,members of the board of directors and over 100 fellow employees of the company. The event held on 23rd of April 2022 and work commenced at 7am. The team managed to collect truck full of plastics, cellophane and glass particles at the end of 2 hour long cleaning exercise. We would like to pay our sincere gratitude to all participants, Wattala pradeshiya saba, Sri Lanka Police environmental division, Sri Lanka Navy environmental division and all suppliers for their valuable contribution towards this worthy project. Baurs intend to continue with activities in this nature across the year.
